Wet n Wild Highlighter!

Hey Beauties today’s post will be my thoughts on Wet n Wild’s Highlighter in the shade Precious Petals! I recently purchased this highlighter mid May after hearing lots of great reviews from other YouTubers and bloggers. Looking for a good drugstore highlighter I decided to buy it and let me tell you all that I definitely do not regret it!

First of all this highlighter is only… *drumroll please* …$4.99!!!!! Isn’t that WILD! (oh how I love puns) So that was obviously a deal breaker that I had to get my hands on this product. I was excited to try it out for myself and I mean if it didn’t work out for me, at the end I would only be losing $5 versus other high end products that can cost over $30 but don’t meet up to their expectations. As soon as I swatched it on my hand I fell in love. It has a rose gold tint to it, which would be flattering on all skin tones. Precious Petals looks lovely across the cheek bones, temple, and cupid’s bone, as well as in the inner corner of the eye for a pop of shine. For a more natural glow, just a thin layer can be applied but the powder can definitely be built up or used with setting spray for a glow that can be seen from the heavens. I’ve never tried it myself but I’m sure this shade would also look great on top of an eye look as a shimmer!

This MegaGlo Highlighter can be purchased on Wet n Wild’s Website here and also at Walgreens and Rite Aid in store! Below is its description as stated by Wet n Wild..

“Shimmer and shine in all the right places. Back by popular demand, our sold out highlighting powder is here to stay! A fan favorite thanks to its ultra-pearly finish and easy-to-blend formula, it looks amazing on top of cheekbones, around the eyes or anywhere you apply it.”

So all in all, I honesty have no cons about this highlighter. If you’re looking for a great drugstore highlight this is the way to go. Whether you use a fan brush, highlight brush, or any other fluffy brush, the application is smooth and will leave you looking like a glowing goddess. The slim packaging makes it easy to slip into your makeup bag or purse for touch ups on the go!

Thank you for reading and I hope I’ve convinced you all to try this product out! Any and all feedback is welcomed! ❤

Love L

xoxo

Miracle Diamond Sponge!

Hey Beauties! Today I will be sharing all my thoughts and tips on Real Techniques’ Miracle Diamond Sponge! I first heard of this makeup sponge through a beauty YouTuber and I’m honestly surprised how little this sponge has been hyped up and how little I’ve heard about it. If I’m being honest, before purchasing this product the only makeup sponges I had were some inexpensive ones from Marshall’s. Continue reading “Miracle Diamond Sponge!”

Hey Beauties it’s Lucia! In today’s post I will be showing you all how I wash my makeup brushes plus an easy DIY method for drying your brushes at the end! It’s recommended to wash your makeup brushes at least once a month but being the lazy person I am, its most likely been a little more than a month. Keeping your brushes clean will however ensure a smooth and flawless makeup application so it’s an important routine to do often. Below is the method I personally find best for washing my brushes… Continue reading “How I clean my brushes + DIY Drying Rack!”

L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte 24Hr Foundation

Hey Beauties! After wanting to try L’Oreal’s Infallible Pro-Matte 24Hr Foundation for a very long time, I finally purchased it and today I’m going to share my thoughts about it with all of you!

I purchased this foundation from Bed Bath & Beyond and it retailed for $11.99, but I know it can be found at pretty much any drugstore, including ULTA. I bought the foundation in the shade Golden Beige and it turned out to match my skin tone very well. Below I listed all the pros and cons that I have found while using it!

Pros:

  1. It has GREAT coverage. The product states to give medium coverage and I definitely agree with that statement. In certain areas of my face I have red areas because of acne and this foundation did a great job at concealing the majority of it!
  2. Although this foundation claims to be demi-matte, it does not give your face a flat appearance. For me it made my face look smooth and matte, while still giving me a natural glow.
  3. This foundation makes your face look super smooth and flawless.
  4. Despite  the medium coverage, it feels light and comfortable on the skin.
  5. After wearing it for a whole day while walking all over Santa Monica, my face hardly looked greasy. The coverage and finish lasted the whole day!

Cons:

  1. My one and only con would be that if you don’t moisturize your face properly, the foundation can make your face look a bit dry.

Now onto how I use this foundation! I first moisturize my face with my Aveeno face lotion.

Over my moisturizer I prime my face with Bare Mineral’s Prime Time Face Primer.

Then I apply the foundation with my Bh Cosmetics duo stipling brush from my 36 pc Ultimate Brush Set.

For any stubborn pimples or acne spots I use Maybelline’s Fit Me Concealer and blend it out with a makeup sponge.

Lastly I set the foundation lightly with my Better Skin Face Powder by Maybelline with a fluffy powder brush also from Bh Cosmetics.

That concludes my thoughts about the Pro-Matte Foundation! I hope you all enjoyed reading my post and be sure to share your thoughts about this foundation if any of you have tried it! I would love to hear all of your feedback!

Love you beauties xoxo

P.S. Can you tell I’m getting into the fall spirit 😀
